Was anyone else’s first Pokemon game Gold / Silver? My family didn’t get a Gameboy until Gen 2 came out after ceaselessly begging my parents since all my friends were playing the Gen 1 games at school.
For that reason, the Pokemon from this generation are some of my favorite. Like most kids, the legendaries were where it was at, but Tyranitar was a cool guy too. I picked Chikorita as my starter and never evolved it. Beating the elite 4 with a lv. 60 pear boy was good times.
